Inclement Weather Conditions and Unforeseen Business Interruptions

Inclement Weather Conditions and Unforeseen Business Interruptions Policy and Procedures

Winter brings about other challenges for eveyone and eveyone has differeing abilities and/or challenges in reference to dealing with different weather conditions. I want to ensure the safety and well-being of my clients, so Elizabeth Browning, LCSW/Bethbearly, LLC has a policy to close the office when transportation is not advised. Additionally, Elizabeth Browning, LCSW/Bethbearly, LLC reserves the right to close the facility due to other unforeseen business interruptions.

When the office is closed, this means in-person appointments will not be available.

In the event of inclement weather conditions or other unforeseen business interruptions, Elizabeth Browning, LCSW/Bethbearly, LLC  has established the following procedures:

  • Simple Practice Communication:

    • Simple Practice will send you an update via text and/or email when your appointment has been transitioned to telehealth due to severe weather conditions or canceled/rescheduled due to other unforeseen business interruptions. This communication will be made as promptly as possible to keep you informed.

  • Telehealth Option:

    • In situations where face-to-face sessions are not advisable, the option to conduct your counseling session via telehealth will be communicated to you through Simple Practice. This ensures continuity of care without compromising safety. If your appointment cannot be held electronically or if you prefer not to have a virtual appointment, you will need to contact me by phone to reschedule.
